WEGreenWorkshop: Engineering Green and Sustainable Software in the Computing Continuum

WEGreen Workshop

SWForum.eu, together with HUB4Cloud, is organising a hybrid workshop collocated with GECON 2022 on 15 September in Izola, Slovenia.

GECON 2022, the 19th International Conference on the Economics of Grids, Clouds, Systems and Services, builds upon the very successful tradition of the conference's previous editions since 2003 (http://www.gecon-conference.org). GECON solicits contributions that are interdisciplinary, combining business and economic aspects with engineering and computer science-related themes. The purpose of this event is to gather original work and build a strong multidisciplinary community in this increasingly important area of future information and knowledge economy.

The WEGreenWorkshop

The WEGreen workshop "SWForum and HUB4CLOUD Workshop on Engineering Green and Sustainable Software in the Computing Continuum" will be highly interactive and is aimed at triggering discussion and facilitating the creation of new initiatives and research groups. We welcome vision papers and research reports in the form of short abstracts (up to 5 pages in the LNCS format).

This workshop will focus on all issues concerning the engineering practices relevant to the creation and execution of green and sustainable software in the cloud continuum.
