João Pita Costa is a PhD in Mathematics acting as Innovation Manager and Senior Researcher at the International Research Centre On Artificial Intelligence under the auspices of UNESCO (IRCAI), and as a lecturer on AI-related topics at the Barcelona Business School (ENEB). Joao published works on highly ranked journals and conferences in the context of applications of AI to public health and COVID-19, smart logistics or climate change from a water management perspective, and on theoretical advances such as topological data analysis and noncommutative order theory.
